Christ the King Church is participating in Operation Christmas Child. Operation Christmas Child is a program through Samaritan’s Purse that reaches out to children and families around the world with the love of Christ in a practical way.
Members of churches individually take a regular-size shoebox and fill it with things like crayons, pencils, pens, small toys, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other useful things. Then wrap it up, bring it to the church and your church’s representative takes it to the program’s regional sponsor for delivery to participating churches in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. From there the boxes will be given to a child in need.
